Taking this town home from drab to luxe was a great challenge. This client wanted to work with the existing beige walls. I wanted to compliment them by going bold and keeping the space monochromatic. Muted colors speak a calm and luxe dialogue. The design was grounded by blacks and dark browns. In the end was a sophisticated and laid back space where the clients can kick back and lounge.

This home office was an unused bedroom. We transformed the space into a minimal office space with the inspiration of french design. The philosophy of less is more spoke volumes to this small space. The client has exactly what he needs to function with a stylish vibe.

This townhouse needed an upgrade in style. The client wanted something to feel easy and fresh. I created this tailored but bohemian mix with midcentury pieces and light toned woods. In the end this townhouse now feels complete with modern simplicity.

These Laguna house owners were in major need of an update to their 80s style track home.  They requested a colonial beach feel with a modern aesthetic.  I designed the space with a classic approach, including decorative wall moldings, tufted furniture, and a timeless neutral palette. I then mixed in a modern touch with modular pieces and linear bold forms.  In the end they now have a family room that fits their style and will transcend the trends.

Who says a bachelor pad has to be dark and cave-like? The dungeon bachelor days are dated and of the past. This bachelor abode resides in the heart of Beverly Grove. The Client is a graphic designer who is a commuter by bike. He requested an industrial feel.  He also wanted to exude a "Los Angeles Style" for the AirBnB aspect, so when people rent the space they can really attain that Angeleno experience. I incorporated elements of industrial, farm house, and mid century pieces. Still keeping within the minimal, modern, and understated JPSP Design aesthetic.  I wanted to create a space that fit this city dweller's lifestyle.  Keeping the design female friendly won't have this Angeleno single for long!

The beauty cosmetic industry's favorite eye lash company House of Lashes (@houseoflashes) now has an amazing executive suite office to stay creative and inspired. They feature hand crafted 100% premium human hair and non-animal cruelty-free synthetic fibers. Their philosophy was the inspiration behind my design.  The grandeur of the horse artwork simulates the strength and beauty of their product while staying cruelty-free. Bright, airy with a chic and sophisticated feel was the perfect marriage to these young entrepreneurs ideal work space. 

Je ne sais quoi. Merging parisian influences and modern neoclassicism. The clients wanted the master suite to be classy, romantic, gender neutral, and relaxing with options for workspace without having a designated desk area as they are around the clock business gurus. I created a modern french space that still nods to the architecture of the home but achieves the aesthetic of a modern, sophisticated and young couple that they are. Understated and chic, these clients will have a space with a style that will last a lifetime.

This client was in desperate need of a makeover for their ranch style house. I wanted to design a simple yet interesting space.  A color block of navy blue, grey, tan, and sea foam help warm the space that's framed in black and white walls and trim. Mod outlines feature the vaulted ceilings that also showcase an inspired rendition of the Dear Ingo spider lamp. A mixture of materials such as leather, glass, linen, metal and natural wood provide a rich space without feeling stuffy. Bringing a New York loft vibe to the west coast was a client request. I wanted to have that inspiration but retain the ease of Los Angeles easy-going lifestyle. As a result I've created a relaxed, refined, and sophisticated space that will stay fresh and clean through the years.

This Hollywood studio, just shy of 500 square feet, is a testament to small space style.  I wanted to create the perfect space for the owner, who travels in between San Francisco and Los Angeles and needed a simple and inspiring space to stay while working in Hollywood.  I immediately went the direction of white walls to give the illusion of more space; exuding openness and a crisp look with no-fuss, lightweight furniture.

A plethora of period influenced, neoclassic, and modern pieces give this studio a unique personality. A mix of materials from lush blue velvet to rugged brushed linen in a light neutral monochrome palette speak luxury but modesty. The comforts of tufted pieces and industrial hard lines create a balanced design fit for the sophisticated.

This Law Firm , Carmen Villamor, represents a fresh space with unique combinations of classic design and worldly touches. A pair of Hans J. Wegner Ox Chairs and ethnic influences such as the Thai tables, handmade in Thailand, create an unexpected modern and inviting work environment. Carmen Villamor's space features a three conversation vignette between Andrew Nayer's Crane Lights, JPSP DESIGN FACET canvas art, and Logan Adermatt Photography. As an immigration lawyer, Carmen Villamor wanted a space that was open concept. I proceeded in a minimal approach that could still emit a warmness; an important factor for the comfort of her clients.  An environment that felt expansive and inspiring was key. This Law firm hits those high style notes in this understated lounge area and workspace.
